We started the morning off with a trip to Nu'uanu Pali Lookout to take a view of the island.
The view from Pali Lookout. A breathtaking look at God's amazing creation.
We are all here to celebrate the renewal of their love and dedication to one another. The happy couple, Melvin and Angel Little.
This view is amazing. You can't do anything but smile when you are surrounded but such beautiful nature.
Mom is enjoying the view from the lookout deck.
"Friends, how many of us have them?" Look at these set of best friends. They know they would not have wanted to enjoy this trip without their best friend by their side.
Morgan and Marissa are enjoying the sites as well, laughing at each other as always. Rissa is sooo stylish, but we will get to her photo shoot later.
We found this lady at the lookout who was willing to take our photo for us, so I could get in the picture. Little did we know, she thought she was photographer of the year, giving us all kinds of directions. All we could do was smile and say thank you. When really all we kept thinking was, "take the picture".
I wish I could explain what these two were up to during this photo, but as always, I have no clue. If they like it, I love it! They are just happy to be in Hawaii.
Ms. Marilyn, Ms. Lisa, Mom, Nique and Dad chilling on the Pali Lookout sign.
The gangs all here! Posing for a final picture before heading on to our next stop of the day. Special thanks to Morgan for agreeing to participate in the photo with us. LOL.
While the old folks were finishing up their lunch, Morgan, Marissa, Nique and I decided to venture off on our own and see what Waikiki had to offer. We stumbled upon this Lagoon were you can go paddle surfing or just swim around and relax.
Nique wanted to take a trip on this rock formation that leads out to the ocean. He originally was going to go by himself, but I was not about to let that happen. Mom and Dad were not about to ring my neck because Dominique fell into the Pacific Ocean and broke his leg. So we both walked out and enjoyed the much needed splash of water from the waves hitting the rocks.
Thank God I had on tennis shoes today and not my sandals, I slipped on a rock and was able to catch myself because I had on the right shoes. When it was all said and done, I think this picture speaks for itself. It was another breathtaking experience.
While Nique and I were away, we spotted Morgan giving Marissa a full fledge photo shoot on the rocks. Rissa is our fashion model on this trip. She is out here in Hawaii and you can't tell her nothing. Lol.
Marissa is not playing about these photos. She is looking good and feeling good. She was so cute today that this group of older ladies at the Pearl Harbor Site wanted to have their photo taken with her. Lol. These people traveled all the way to Hawaii to go visit Pearl Harbor and they didn't want to take a picture of the ships, but photos with the "Muy Bonita" Marissa. Lol. You Go Girl!!!
After we left the beach we headed to the Pearl Harbor Historic Site to visit the location of the tragic attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
This flagpole is surround by the various memorials of all the ships and shipmen lost during World War II.
The U.S.S. Bowfin is a submarine that is moored at Pearl Harbor. Visitors have an opportunity to take a walk on to the ship and gain knowledge about its journey.
Dad is explaining to Nique how these guns were manned and operated back in the day. Nique is shocked by the size of the weapons used on these battleships.
Dad was like a kid in a candy store today at the National Park Service. He was giving history lessons to anyone that would listen and giving tours like he had been there before. He also had a little too much fun on this gun with Dominique. What can I say, the man loves his history.
I wanted to take a picture with someone in their uniform and found this guy who agreed to take a picture with, even though he clearly did not want to. I thanked him for both the photo and his service and let him get on with his day.
Here lies the anchor of the U.S.S. Arizona, the only ship that is unable to be recovered from the bottom of the harbor.
The tour of the U.S.S. Arizona begins with a video that shows actual footage of the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. Following the video, we all exited the theater and headed to the boat that took us out to the floating memorial that sits atop the sunken ship.
The U.S.S. Arizona is the final resting place for over 900 people who were trapped inside the ship when it sank 74 years ago.
Paying our respect to the individuals whose lives were lost on that tragic day. The names of all the individuals that died on the U.S.S. Arizona.

After leaving the Pearl Harbor site, we decided to head back to the hotel and enjoy some time by the pool and the sites of the beach. This sunset was so beautiful, we are thinking about turning it into a postcard.
Like Father, Like Daughter. Dad an I taking a look at all the ships that are traveling in and out of the harbors near by.
Today was another amazing day on the island of O'ahu. We ended the night with a walk back to our room and this flawless photo of the full moon.
