We hope you all enjoy this blog and choose to follow along with us during our vacation. We will be working hard to update the blog daily. Please keep in mind that Honolulu is six hours behind the Eastern Coast. Enjoy the BLOG!!!
Bags are being loaded in the truck... you know what that means... The Morris Family is Hawaii Bound!
"But first, let me take a selfie."
Blessed and thankful to be a part of this amazing vacation with the people I love the most. Hawaii here we come!!
Nique and I on the shuttle excited about what this day will bring.
We arrived at gate E28 to board our Boeing 747-400 to Honolulu, Hawaii. The plan was sitting at the gate waiting for us to board before we start our nine our journey to the island of O'ahu.
Mom and I taking time to take an "usie" before boarding the plane.
We are all anxious to board our plane and get to Hawaii!!! Headed to Hawaii to celebrate 25 years of marriage for Mr. Melvin and Mrs. Angel.
About 4 hours into our flight, we decided it was time to document just how we spent our time. Delta has a great thing going with the individual movie choices. They had a large selection which helped the time pass quickly. Although we were all disappointed to know that Delta did not offer FREE real food for a nine hour flight. We were eating all the peanuts, cookies, and pretzels they had to offer.
This was a nice treat as we approached Hawaii. Our first taste of Hawaii, a chocolate covered macadamia nut.
The screen has tracked our journey from Atlanta, GA to Honolulu, HI. So glad we are able to get off this plane.
Aloha from Erika and Nique!!!! We were sooooo happy to finally be off that plane.
Welcome to Honolulu International Airport!
We will not be using the word "hello" for the next week. The common greeting to anyone and everyone is "Aloha".
Welcome to Hawaii!
Rissa and I decided to pick some flowers out of the trees and ground behind us so we could take this cute photo. We FINE!!!
Super Cloudy once we arrived and it began to drizzle a little. You can still get a good look at some of the mountains on the island.
